pJonathan Carabba was kayaking on the American River in Sacramento on July 8 when he witnessed a rattlesnake swimming across the river only a few feet away.ppCarabba saida the snake eventually swam to shore and ended up relatively close to some fishermen. Carabba alerted the fishermen and no injuries were reported.
