Oilbr 2 bay leavesbr 5 green cardamomsbr 1 tsp. Cumin seedsbr 2 onions, slicedbr 3 green chilies, slitbr ½ tsp. Turmeric powderbr Juice of 1 lemonbr 1 cup fresh green peasbr 1 big brinjal chopped into 1” cubes and soaked in waterbr Salt to tastebr br Vangi Bhaat Powder:-br 10 dry Red Chiliesbr 3 tbsp. Coriander seedsbr 2 tbsp. Channa dalbr 1 tsp. Urad Dalbr 2 tsp. Cumin seedsbr 1 tsp. Fenugreekbr 8 clovesbr 1” cinnamonbr br br Method:-br 1. Roast the Vangi Bhaat Powder ingredients in a pan and grind to a fine powder after it cools down to room temperature.br 2. Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves, green cardamoms, cumin seeds, onions and saute until the onions turn pink.br 3. Add green chilies, turmeric powder, Vangi Bhaat Powder, green peas, brinjal cubes and mix well.br 4. Now add the soaked rice, 8 cups water, juice of a lemon and salt.br 5. Mix thoroughly, cover with a lid and cook for 15-20 minutes on medium flame.
