The glass ceiling is a well known metaphor for workplace sexism. In Silicon Valley, however, the term has been adapted as "The Bamboo Ceiling" by Asian workers who describe a similar workplace barrier based on race. We follow Pandora diversity coordinator, Lisa Lee, as she describes the experience of being an Asian American woman in tech.
