24 girls rescued from shelter home in UP's Deoria. The shelter home's license was revoked after a CBI inspection. The girls' ordeal came to light when one of them escaped and complained to the police that they were treated like servants. The institution's director has been arrested. This horrifying incident comes on the heels of a similar incident in Bihar's Muzzafarpur where 44 girls were drugged and raped by employees of the shelter home.
