Hawaii cleaned up from the floods and landslides brought by Tropical Storm Lane, downgraded from hurricane status, as it moved away on Sunday, August 26.

Damaged roads were reported in different parts of Hawaii, including Maui and the Big Island.

This video, shared on August 26, showed a damaged road on the Big Island caused by flooding.

Persistent downpours were expected and may further cause more flooding across the state, while a flash flood watch remained in effect for Hawaii Island, the National Weather Service said on Sunday. Credit: Michelle Ferraro via Storyful
