Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been sued for defamation by the parents of a boy killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook school massacre. According to Reuters, Jones bid to dismiss the lawsuit but was denied. Judge Scott Jenkins in Travis County, Texas, said that the bid would be “in all respects denied. On his media platform Infowars, Jones has called the Connecticut elementary school shooting a hoax. He said the whole thing was a political cover-up from the left-wing to promote gun control.
