Demi Lovato's Alleged Drug Dealer Won't Be Charged 31-year-old Brandon Johnson admitted to giving Demi Lovato br the drugs that may have caused her br overdose in July. It isn't likely that Johnson will be investigated br by the LAPD since Lovato's overdose was considered a br medical emergency, br not a crime. Last week, Johnson explained what allegedly happened the night of br Lovato's overdose. Brandon Johnson, via 'Page Six' Johnson said that they both freebased br oxycodone but denied selling the singer drugs. Johnson also admitted, br "I'm not sure what br was mixed in, to tell br you the truth." Some reports suggested that Lovato br might have used a combination of drugs br and alcohol throughout the course of the night. Lovato was released br from Cedars-Sinai br Medical Center in br L.A. two weeks later. She is currently br still in rehab.
