Cimarron-Memorial opens Northwest League play against Shadow Ridge on Friday. Cimarron (2-2) will rely on running back Jordan Norwood, who has shined through four games. The junior has rushed 103 times for 778 yards and 12 TDs, all tops on the leaderboard. Norwood has also helped the Cimarron passing game, drawing attention away from opposing defenses. Cimarron lost its first two games, but has won two in a row heading into Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Shadow Ridge (3-1).
