Taking law in hand is becoming a habit in our country. Recently, two such incidents have come into light. A former DMK councillor was caught on the CCTV camera kicking a woman at a beauty parlour in Tamil Nadu's Perambalur district. Police sources say Satya owed money to Selva Kumar and there was a delay in repayment of the loan. The accused was arrested by the police. In another incident, a woman was beaten up, stripped and paraded semi-naked by a mob in Delhi's Swaroop Nagar over suspicion of theft. In both the incidents the accused showed complete disregard for the judiciary of the country.
