LA County Sheriff's Office Redirects Traffic as Charlie Fire Spreads

pA wildfire that broke out on Saturday, September 22, in the Castaic area of southern California had growna to about 3,000 acres within hours.ppThe fire, which was first reported at 2:40 pm at Charlie Canyon Road, forced road closuresa and could be seena as far as the San Fernando Valley.ppEvacuation orders were in place for some parts of San Francisquito Canyon Road, authorities saida.ppLos Angeles County Fire Department inspector Joey Marron said thata 120 firefighters three helicopters and two Super Scooper aircraft were deployed to tend the blaze.ppThe LA County Sheriff’s Office reported that 20 to 50 homes were evacuated near Camp 14 on San Francisquito Canyon Road, but said no structures were threatened at the time this video was uploaded.
