Woman Who Saved Pets During Florence Faces Charges

According to Huffington Post, a North Carolina animal rescuer is facing charges for allegedly practicing veterinary medicine without a license while looking after pets during Hurricane Florence. Tammie Hedges, the woman being charged, runs Crazys Claws N Paws, an animal rescue group in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The group offered to provide temporary housing for the pets of local people who were fleeing Florence.
