PM Modi and Emmanuel Mankroe have been honored by the UN Environment Award 'Champions of the Earth'. Apart from them, five other persons and organizations have also been honored. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been given this honor for the pledge to completely eliminate the use of plastic by 2022.
