br pIndonesian Red Cross (IRC) workers continued on Wednesday, October 3, to help the survivors of Sulawesi Island’s devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the region on September 28.ppThese videos show various support activities. The first and second clips show workers assessing the damage and searching for bodies in Petobo, a suburb of Palu. An IRC spokesman tweeteda that rescue workers recovered 14 more bodies from the rubble on Wednesday.ppThe third clip shows workers recovering three more bodies from the coastal town of Talise, northeast of Palu.ppThe fourth clip shows IRC workers loading aid for tsunami survivors at their warehouse in Gresik, East Java.ppThe fifth, sixth and seventh clip shows IRC workers treating injured victims in their first aid tent, as well as helping them with hospital forms in Palu.ppOn Wednesday, Indonesia’s disaster management agency raised the death toll to 1,374a, with another 113 missing. Hundreds of others were reported to be severely injured.
