Some of the artists that XXXTentacion beat for the award include Juice WRLD, Lil Baby, Rich the Kid and BlocBoy JB. XXXTentacion is also nominated for two br awards at the upcoming American Music br Awards, including 'New Artist of the Year' br and 'Favorite SoulR&B Album' for '17.' The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards were taped on Oct. 6 but will air on Oct. 16 and feature performances from Cardi B, T.I., Lil Baby, Gunna, Lil Pump and more. Lil Wayne was honored with br the "I Am Hip br Hop' award.
