The decision over the 18 Disqualified AIADMK MLAs has been upheld by the court today. This comes as a huge setback for TTV Dinakaran. In September, 2017 Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker P. Dhanapal disqualified 18 dissenting AIADMK MLAs. The MLAs who supported TTV Dinakaran then approached Madras High Court. Now as the disqualification has been upheld,18 constituencies will fall vacant until further orders.
