The crown prince of Saudi Arabia reportedly described slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi as "dangerous." The Washington Post reports, based on sources familiar with the situation, that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman portrayed "Khashoggi as a dangerous Islamist days after his disappearance in a phone call with President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and national security adviser John Bolton."  Such statements are incongruent with those later given by the Saudi government, which ultimately described the journalist's death as a "terrible mistake."  The news comes amid growing problems for the crown prince and his country, notes CNN. Saudi Arabia is facing a great deal of criticism for the Khashoggi killing and a number of its other actions, including the nation's involvement in the war in Yemen and the blockade of Qatar.  Furthermore, its efforts to obtain civilian nuclear technology from the U.S. are being challenged by five Republican Senators.
