When asked to comment after the tabling of Budget 2019 on Friday, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the proposal to establish the world’s first airport Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in Malaysia, is in line with the government’s plan to bring in the private sector to invest in building airports in the country.
