A debate over Tahfiz school allocations heated up after a Pakatan Harapan lawmaker claimed that the previous Barisan Nasional administration had never allocated the fund.

The episode went on for about 30 minutes until Kubang Kerian MP Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man chided lawmakers over such behaviour when school children were present at the Dewan Rakyat and watching the debates.
