Barber charged with murdering 11-month-old baby Zara

A barber, who was alleged to have physically and sexually abused 11-month-old Nur Muazara Ulfa Mohammad Zainal, was charged at the Kajang magistrate's court on Friday with murdering the infant.
Hazmi Majid, 36, was charged with causing the death of Nur Muazara Ulfa at Apartment Sri Cempaka, Section 16, Bandar Baru Bangi between 10.30am and 1.30pm on Nov 7.
He faces a charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
