Ahead of 2019 polls, politics over Hinduism at its peak with Rahul Gandhi taking a jibe at PM Modi said that Hinduism isn't the prerogative of the BJP and that the PM claims to be a Hindu but doesn't know the fundamentals of Hinduism. Quoting Gita, Rahul took a potshot at PM Modi, questioned PM Modi on what type of Hindu is the PM. These comments coming close to the row over Rahul's gotra & Cong's soft hindutva pitch in its manifestos.
