Lillington, NC - A Harnett County deputy is on administrative leave after a video posted to social media showed him tackling a girl as she recorded an arrest with her cellphone.

The incident happened about 10:40 a.m. Monday after two deputies were dispatched to a report of a person who had a concealed firearm and was involved in illegal drug activity on Winding Ridge in the Carolina Hill neighborhood off Buffalo Lake Road, according to a release from the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office.
