Australia were still 316 runs behind when the match was called off as a draw, leaving India with a series triumph after wins in Adelaide and Melbourne. While addressing the media in the post-match conference, Ravi Shastri said that the historic win against Australia after 71 years is bigger than 1983 Cricket World Cup and World Championship 1985.
