The BCCI has decided to conduct the IPL 2019, the 12th edition of the tournament, in India despite the league's dates clashing with the general elections in the country. There were talks about this year's IPL, or at least the initial part of it, getting staged at a different country to avoid poll hustle. "The Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Tuesday (January 8) met in New Delhi to discuss the IPL 2019 venues and window.
