Peter Handscomb scored a fighting half-century as Australia posted 2885 against India in the first One-Day International (ODI) at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Saturday. His 61-ball knock was laced with 6 boundaries and two sixes. Marcus Stoinis (47 not out), on the other hand, played an important cameo towards the end of the innings to help the hosts post a respectable total. Apart from Handscomb, Usman Khawaja (59) and Shaun Marsh (54) also notched up brilliant individual half-centuries after Australia lost their openers early.
