U.S. to expand its spending on improving North Korea's human rights issues

Amid these flurry of developments,... the U.S. is planning to expand its funds for improving North Korea's human rights situation.
Voice of America reported Saturday... citing an explanatory statement on the State Department's spending bill for 2019... that 10-million U.S. dollars has been allocated for North Korea's human rights.
That's up 2-million dollars from last year's figure.
Of the total amount,... 60 percent is to be given to non-profit organization, National Endowment for Democracy,... and 40 percent to the deparment's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor.
