Star Test, which ran from 1989-1991, was one of those Channel 4 ideas which was simply twenty years ahead of its time. A celebrity would be asked questions, and the audience would phone in to vote on whether they were telling the truth. Do that nowadays but with a live Twitter feed and a Rylan, and you'd get ten years out of it grilling MTV 'reality' microcelebs.
