Vaayai Moodi Pesavum is a 2014 Tamil Love Comedy film directed by Balaji Mohan. Vaayai Moodi Pesavum songs are composed by Sean Roldan who made his debut in the film. Vaayai Moodi Pesavum stars Dulquer Salman and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles while yesteryear actress Madhoo made her comeback. Pandiarajan, Arjunan, Robo Shankar and John Vijay play supporting roles.

Vaayai Moodi Pesavum takes place in a fictitious town called Panimalai, where there is a new flu outbreak called Dumb Flu, which renders a person mute and sometimes even causes . Dulquer Salman is a sales representative who wants to be an RJ. Nazriya Nazim is a junior doctor who lives with her stepmother Madhoo. Nazriya Nazim and Madhoo share a cold relationship as she has never been able to accept Madhoo as her mother. Madhoo is a writer who is desperate for her husband's attention. Meanwhile there is Robo Shankar, head of the drunkards association, protesting against actor John Vijay for showing them in a bad light in a movie. With the outbreak of the virus, a ban is imposed on the people of Panimalai from talking. With nothing but silence all over the town, the characters try to solve their problems.
