Barisan Nasional candidate Ramli Mohd Nor has won the Cameron Highlands by-election on Saturday night. Ramli garnered 12,038 votes, while Pakatan Harapan’s M.Manogaran garnered 8,800 votes. Ramli also created history by becoming the first-ever orang asli to be elected as a Member of Parliament.
