In pursuit of her goal to become a film star, Nanda (Pooja Gandhi) meets people like Shivaiah (Atul Kulkarni), Krishna Raju (Makarand Deshpande) and a few other directors and producers. While most of them try to outrage her modesty, she manages to steer clear. Luck smiles when Shivaiah, an associate director, decides to direct a movie for her. The film becomes a big hit, catapulting Nada to the top. But soon success gets the better of her as she turns nasty and arrogant. Unable to cope with her tantrums, filmmakers begin to drop her from their projects and her life takes a nosedive. Another opportunity comes her way when Betageri Gangaraju (Ravishankar) offers her a role in his drama company. The two soon get married but differences mar their relationship.
