However, the intellect of those who proceed on the path of uncertainty will indeed have unlimited and diverse branches.br br 3 Here, Lord Krishna is trying to explain that any person of resolute intellect strongly cultivates a single-minded focus on the goal. This mentally strong individual cannot be deterred from following the righteous path. br br 4The forty-second and forty-third stanzas are as follows;br || Yamimam Pushpitam Vacham Pravadanty-Avipashchitahbr Veda-Vada-Ratah Partha Nanyad Astiti Vadinah ||42||br br || Kamatmanah Swarga-Para Janma-Karma-Phala Pradambr Kriya-Vishesha-Bahulam Bhogaishwarya-Gatim Prati ||43||br br 5 These verses can be translated as follows;br br O Partha, those with limited knowledge presume speculative interpretation of the Vedas, that promote the pretentious rituals for elevation to the celestial abodes, resultant good birth, power, and so forth.
