At the end of day three, India are 545 and lead by 346 runs. Thanks to Jasprit Bumrah’s six-wicket haul India managed to secure a massive first-innings lead of 292 runs after Australia were bundled out for 151. Bumrah returned with career-best figures of 633 to put India ahead. However, after India decided against enforcing the follow-on, the visitors lost five quick wickets with Pat Cummins picking four of them. At the close of play, Mayank Agarwal and Rishabh Pant were batting on 28 and six respectively.
