Was im Winter 2014 als Funke entstand, hatte Zeit sich zu entwickeln und vom Duo zur vollen Band zu wachsen (seit 2018). Musikalisch entstanden ist ein Mix aus starken eigenen Songs und aussagekräftigen Covers. Zwischen der Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Black Crowes und Neil Young. Black Cats Smoking sind Strolche, unterwegs durch verwinkelte Gassen, auf der Suche nach dieser einen Bar, wo diese Musik spielt, die nach Erinnerungen klingt.


Acoustic Duo and Power Band - Black Cat's Smoking are musical strays, sometimes quiet and hidden, sometimes going full throttle like a power steam train through dry fields and rainy streets. No frills, just pure sound!

It all started as a spark in winter 2014 and has since had time to develop and grow. As a duo and since 2018 also as a full band. Their sound is a mix of valid own songs and expressive covers. Following the trail blazed by the Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Black Crowes or Neil Young, Black Cat’s Smoking are vagabonds, on their way through winding streets, looking for this one bar where this music plays, the music that sounds like memories.
