A 37-year-old man was charged at the Klang magistrate’s court on Wednesday for placing three idols in a surau last week.br br Helmee Othman was charged under Section 295 of the Penal Code for desecrating a place of worship. The suspect was also accused of stealing an idol from Cheong Lin Chai on Feb 20.br br The accused pleaded guilty to all three charges.
