India News : Fresh satellite images of Kedarnath and other flood-hit areas in Uttarakhand have punctured several theories doing the rounds about the actual trigger of the devastation.br Contrary to the popular assumption that two glaciers - Chaurabari and its smaller companion - burst behind the Kedarnath Temple releasing water and rubble that ravaged the town, post-disaster images taken from NASA and Indian satellites show that the glaciers are intact, with little or no change to suggest any role in the floods.
