In an apparent effort to end the 2-week old impasse in Parliament, the government has decided not to implement its reforms in retail till a consensus is reached among political parties. The government's troubleshooter-in-chief Pranab Mukherjee spoke to the leader of the opposition this morning confirming a holdback.
