Booker prize winner Salman Rushdie has cancelled his India visit, the Lit fest organizers in Jaipur announced today. The organizers said Rusdie had informed them that there was threat to his life.The controversial writer was almost forced to cancel his visit after Deoband declared last week they would openly protest his visit at the Jaipur Lit Fest.
