Pune is still to come to terms with Santosh Mane's inexplicable act that left 8 people dead. In his statement after arrest, Mane told the police he didn't remember anything. He said nothing in self-defense in court. Mane has been a driver with the transport corporation for more than a decade, and has a clean on-road record.
