NewsX spoke to the lawyer of Army chief general, Puneet Bali. He says that initially when the petition was filed , it was categoricaly mentioned and stated that this matter does not relate to tenure, it only relates to honor and integrity. The date of birth would only be for the purpose of service record. He adds that the petition is withdrawn and the matter is disposed.
