Leading anti-superstition activist Dr Narendra Dabholkar was shot dead in Pune on Tuesday morning. Dabholkar was shot dead while on a morning walk near the Omkareshwar temple.br br Dabholkar was the editor of a weekly titled Sadhana. Initial reports suggest that four rounds were fired and he succumbed to bullet injuries in the Sassoon Hospital. The post-mortem report is awaited.
