Based on the trends coming in from all 272 seats at this time, the BJP seems on course on retaining the MCD for the third consecutive time although with a reduced majority. The BJP is on course for victory in 149 seats, with the Congress looking set to bag 70 wards. The BSP is ahead in 14 seats.
