In a fresh development sources close to NewsX tell us that Oil Manufacturing Companies may consider partial rollback of Rs 2.5 to 3 per litre in petrol prices hike. Petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy has been asked to return to India. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said the decision to increase petrol price by a massive Rs 7.54 a litre was taken by oil marketing companies as the govt had deregulated the fuel nearly two years ago.
