The Lord Jagannath Rathyatra began from the 400-year-old Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad today. Tight security marks the event in which as many as 19 decorated elephants are part of the procession. The procession starts with chief Minister Narendra Modi symbolically sweeping the chariots with a golden broom.
