The 165-km long Yamuna Expressway connecting Greater Noida with Agra will be inaugurated today by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The Expressway will be inaugurate at Lucknow by the Chief Minister, while senior S P leader Ramgopal Yadav will flag off vehicles at Expressway here, official sources said. The toll road will be thrown open to the public at 4 pm tomorrow after the inauguration ceremony, the sources said. The state government has given approval to the toll rates at Rs 2.10 per km for cars and light motor vehicles (LMVs) with three toll plazas at 38 km, 95 km and 150 km points. Two more toll plazas would be constructed later, they said.The total length of the Expressway is 165.537 km from Greater Noida zero point till NH2 at Agra with a 100 metre width or right of way.
