Onions are set to make housewives, restaurateurs and eatery owners shed tears all over again, as early rainfall in Maharashtra and Karnataka has led to uncontrollable wastage of the vegetable.While last year heavy rains had onion prices soaring, this year it is unseasonal rains that have affected the rabbi (summer) onion crop.
