The protests against the anti-islam film show no signs of subsiding, the protestors in Chennai were stopped by the police as they tried to move towards the U.S consulate in the city. There was a clash between the police and the protestors. Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the agitators. Two motor bikes were burnt on the way to the consulate by the agitators. The Situation is still not under control.
