2000 Indians stuck near Baghdad

Apart from 40 Indians kidnapped from Iraq's Mosul, the fate of nearly 2,000 Indians working with a construction company, 300km from Mosul, too hangs in the balance. Most of them work near Baghdad airport in a town called Najaf. This information was supplied to the relatives of Punjabis stuck there by Pargat Singh of Patiala, who works with the construction company.
