Heavy rains continued to lash the city on Tuesday slowing down traffic and train movement. A high tide of 4.95 metres in the afternoon coincided with the downpour resulting in flooding in several low-lying areas.The Colaba weather station recorded rainfall of 30.2 mm, while Santa Cruz recorded 7.0 mm rainfall. Central Railway trains were reportedly running 10-15 minutes late. Traffic moved very slowly especially on the Western Express Highway, Juhu Circle, Santa Cruz-Chembur Link Road and Khar subway.
