Around 2000 anti-Nuclear activists were arrested close to the Tamil Nadu Assembly in Chennai as they protested against the nuclear power plant at Kudankulam. And even as protestors were detained in Chennai, Russian ambassador to India Alexander Kadakin, speaking on the sidelines of a cultural summit termed all those protesting against the nuclear power plant as going against the interests of India.
