A day after playing peacemaker in the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) row, Sikhs' supreme religious body, the Akal Takht, once again came to the rescue of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) on Sunday by issuing a diktat that effectively restored the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee's (SGPC) authority to manage gurdwaras in Haryana.
