Addressing a citizens' meet in Silchar yesterday, The RSS chief claimed that rapes took place in India and not in Bharat. And that rapes were a crime mainly in cities and not in rural India. He also said that incidents of gang-rape or sex crimes are prevalent in some urban belts, while adding that Indian ethos and attitudes towards women should be revisited in the context of ancient Indian values.
